About

Built by an inspector, for inspectors.

Callback HQ comes out of The Real Estate Inspection Company (TREIC) the largest home-inspection firm in San Diego. Philippe Heller runs it day-to-day with a team of 10 inspectors covering Southern California: commercial property condition assessments, high-end residential inspections with thermal + moisture imaging, pool, mold, solar, wildfire, and sewer scopes.

Every inspection company hits the same problem after about a year of volume: the office spends more time writing measured, defensible replies to homeowner callbacks than it spends on actual inspections. The reports already say what was — and wasn't — observed. The agreement already says what's covered. The Standards of Practice already say what the inspector was obligated to look for. But re-reading all of it, pulling out the relevant lines, and writing a polite reply that doesn't expose the company takes 45 minutes a callback. Multiply that by three callbacks a week and you've burned a full workday every week on email.

We built Callback HQ to do that work in seconds, but to do it the way we actually do it ourselves — by citing the report, the agreement, and the SoP, not by hallucinating a professional-sounding reply. Every claim, verdict, and dollar figure the assistant proposes traces back to a specific paragraph you can read before approving. The system holds drafts for human review below your confidence threshold; above it, replies queue with a 5-minute undo window. The inspector decides. The system just stops the office from doing the same work five times a week.

Callback HQis independent — we're not a division of a bigger software company and we're not a side project. Philippe Heller also runs Bite Away Termite and Pest Control (termite & pest control serving San Diego County), which shares a service population with The Real Estate Inspection Company (TREIC)and stress-tested the early version of this product on its own callback flow. If you're an inspector reading this, you're reading work done by someone who lives in your problem.

Where we're going

The roadmap is short and obvious: photo evidence analysis for wood-damage and moisture claims, AI-assisted report compilation that cuts inspector report-writing time, property outline generation from Google Earth, and tighter integration with the inspection-report platforms inspectors already use. Everything we build has to make sense at a real inspection company — which means we test it at one before shipping it to yours.
