Payments

Tracking settlement payments after a release is signed.

The Payments page tracks money your company owes after a settlement release has been fully signed. It is not a billing page — it tracks your outgoing settlement payments to homeowners.

How payments appear

Once every signer on a settlement release has signed, the release automatically moves into the Payments queue. You don’t create payment records manually — the system handles it.

Awaiting payment

The top section of the page lists releases that are fully signed but where payment has not yet been issued. Each row shows:

  • Client name
  • Property address
  • Settlement amount
  • Date the release was signed
  • A “View claim” link to jump to the underlying claim

When you’ve issued payment, click Mark paid to record it. The row moves to the Paid section.

Paid

The lower section lists completed payments. Each row shows the client name, property address, settlement amount, and the date you marked the payment as paid.

Payment notifications

The payments contact set in Settings > Workspace receives an email whenever a release is fully executed and a payment is owed. This ensures the right person on your team knows it’s time to cut a check.
